We have 3 homes for sale in the Kansas City area (Kansas side) that need to go! Financing is available on all of them, and you don’t have to have perfect credit. Payments will vary depending on the price, your credit score, and how much down payment you make, but we try to keep all of our payments in a range that are comparable to rents in the area, and usually we can go even lower. The lot rent is $495 per month, which is a little high, but not unreasonable for Johnson county. You get all the benefits of living in JoCo including the Olathe school district which is simply one of the best in the area. This home is priced at $18,900. With 20% down and average credit we could get a payment around $350 per month (for 8 years), also including $100 escrow for taxes and insurance.
Finally we have our 1999 Oakwood 3 bedroom, 2 bath 16×70 home in Quivira Hills Estates, KCKS. The home isn’t quite as nice as the other two in the area, but it is still a clean & functional home, and what it lacks in features it makes up for in space and price. It has a big deck on the front, central air, and is just generally an affordable, low-maintenance home. The park is a secluded and quiet park with very friendly neighbors. We are asking $12,900 for this one, which is a low price for a 1999 model. Once again with 20% down and average credit we could get payments around the $270 range including escrow (plus lot rent). After 8 years, no more payments!
